Installing Yoyo Returns
Add Yoyo Returns to your Shopify store, approve the permissions it asks for, and start your free trial.
Yoyo Returns installs from the Shopify App Store like any other app. It runs inside your Shopify admin, so there's no separate account and no extra password.
Once it's installed you'll find it in your admin sidebar under Apps. Inside the app the menu is: Home, Returns, Return Rules, Retention, Intelligence, Portal, Order Editing and Settings.
Yoyo works on your real Shopify data. A return in Yoyo is a return in Shopify. Exchanges show up on the original order, and store credit is issued by Shopify. That's why the app asks for access to orders, products and customers when you install it.
How to install
Find Yoyo Returns on the Shopify App Store
Search for "Yoyo Returns", or use the Add to Shopify button on yoyoreturns.com. Both lead to the same listing.
Click Install and check the permissions
Shopify shows you what the app can access before anything is installed. Have a read, then approve.
Run through setup
The app opens straight into setup. It reads your store, shows you the setup it has drafted, and asks you to confirm. Most stores are done in a couple of minutes. See the setup walkthrough.
Start your free trial
The last step of setup is choosing a plan. Every plan has a 14-day free trial and plans start at $19 a month. You approve the plan on Shopify's own screen, so there's no card to enter with us.
If you'd rather look around first, use Skip to dashboard during setup. A banner will remind you that your portal isn't live yet, and Resume setup picks up where you stopped.
Good to know
- Billing runs through Shopify. The charge appears on your normal Shopify invoice.
- If the Shopify approval screen gets closed, or the charge is declined, nothing is billed. Open the app and pick a plan again.
- You can uninstall at any time from Settings → Apps and sales channels in Shopify admin. Your orders, returns and store credit stay in Shopify.
- If you reinstall later, you won't be asked to go through setup again.
- Development stores work the same way, which is handy for testing before a real launch.
